What languages are available?

You can use your web browser or mobile website to access Nalanda Digital Dharma courses on any device.

 

Can I download videos to watch offline?
No, they are not available to download but can be viewed online anytime.

 

Are there prerequisites for enrolling in Nalanda Digital Dharma courses?
No, there are no prerequisites for enrolling in Nalanda Digital Dharma courses.

 

Where can I access Nalanda Digital Dharma courses?
The videos in Nalanda Digital Dharma use Vimeo to give students the best possible viewing experience. You can access the courses from the Nalanda Digital Dharma website wherever you can access Vimeo.

Getting Started

How do I find a course and what's included?
Each course includes unlimited access and is available on any device. You can browse courses HERE.

 

Do I need to submit my credit card information in order to take a course?
No! You may enroll in our courses without having to submit your credit card information. However, if you would like to make a donation, you will have the option to enter your credit card or PayPal account details.

 

How do I enroll in a course?
To enroll in a course, it is advised that you create an account first. Once you have created an account and logged in, you can enroll in a course by clicking HERE. For the course you would like to enroll in, select "Learn More". This will bring you to the Course Outline page, which will enable you to enroll in the course.

 

How do I access the courses after enrolling?
You can access them by clicking on MY COURSES.

 

Is there a particular order in which to view the course?
Yes, the courses are meant to be followed in a specific order. The course will lead you through the correct order.

Login Information

How do I login?
In order to login, you must first create an account. To create an account, click HERE and select "Not yet registered?" If you have already created an account, click HERE and enter your social login information or email address, depending on how you initially signed up for your account.

 

Is it safe to use my Google, Yahoo, or Facebook account?
Yes, it is safe to use your social media accounts to login. It is also the easiest way to create an account with us and login. We adhere to industry standard security levels. Your password is never shared with us nor anyone else.

 

Will my information be shared with other organizations?
No. We follow data privacy laws and will never share your information.

Course Information

Can I retake a session?
Once you have enrolled in a course, you can retake the session as many times as you would like.

 

How do I find my reflections after they have been completed?
Your reflections are currently not accessible after you leave a session. The reflections are there to help you contemplate and internalize what was presented in the session. They help reinforce what was explored in the videos, podcasts, or articles. They are for your own personal use only while in the session.

 

Is there a place for other resources?
Yes, on our RESOURCES page, you will find full length versions of the guided meditation audio recordings, as well as links to all the articles presented in the various sessions.

 

Can I take more than one course at a time?
Yes, you can take more than one course at a time if you like. However, the courses are designed to be taken in the order prescribed.

 

Can I access the course from multiple devices?
Yes, you can access the course from a computer, laptop, tablet, or smart phone.

Can I learn at my own pace?
Yes, these courses are specifically designed so that you can learn at your own pace.

 

What types of assignments are given?
There are no assignments for these courses. However, following each video, audio recording, or article is a reflection activity. These reflection activities come in the form of open-ended, multiple choice, true/false, and matching questions. They are there to help reinforce what was explored in each session and are for your personal use only while in the session.

 

How long does each session take?
Each session is designed to be able to be completed in 30 minutes or less.

What currencies are accepted?
All amounts are in United States Dollars (USD). If you use a different currency, the exchange rate at the time of use will be applied.

Troubleshooting

Why can’t I access the course?
If you have enrolled in the course, then be sure you are logged in by clicking HERE. Once you are logged in but not yet enrolled, you can enroll in any course by clicking BROWSE COURSES. Once you are on the "Browse Courses" page, select "Learn More" under the course you would like to enroll in.

I am experiencing buffering and other playback issues.  How can I fix them?
We recommend following the steps below in the order listed. After each step, check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, then move onto the next step.

  • Check that your device is connected to the internet.
  • Check that your internet connection meets our minimum recommended speed of 350Kbps.
  • If you have good connectivity but still cannot start the video, then clear the cache, log out and log back in.

What are the recommended device specifications for streaming?
For Mobile Devices:

  • All iOS devices
  • Android tablets and phones (running Android Version 6.0 and above)

For Computers:

  • Windows 7,8, 10 or Mac OS X 10.1.5 or later, and some Linux versions with standard browsers

How do I reset my password?
On the LOGIN page, click on “Forgot Password?” Enter your username or email in the box and click "Get New Password." Go to your email account and open the email: [Nalandabodhi Sites] Password Reset. Click on the blue link in the email. A new window will open. You can choose to accept the automatically generated password, or create one yourself. Once you have chosen your new password, click "Save Password". A notification will appear that your password has been reset. Click the blue "Log in" link to use your new password to log in. Enter your username or email and the NEW password. Click "Log In" at the lower right hand corner of the login box.
